The consecration of the crowdfunding as an alternative method of raising funds for creative projects, resulted in the production Brazil-Uruguay of PoustEx, 3D animation short film.

The film will presents PoustEx as the title character, a mailman robot who loves his profession, until he realized that the deliveries are not doing well for their recipients. He plans to fix all, which will lead to face major challenges.

\"The film aims to instigate reflection on how our choices and actions are influencing the world.\" - Says Cristiano Policarpo, co-writer and director.

PoustEx is a realization of BaloOm Animation Studios and has been in production since 2011. Will take approximately 12 minutes and the age range free.

Despite the crowdfunding is not an entirely new idea, has become a huge phenomenon with the proliferation of social networks like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, as well as the growing number of Internet users familiar with e-commerce. It is expected that the crowdfunding close in 2012 with an increase of 91% over 2011.

With elaborate project, including videos, photos and rewards for supporters, the campaigns of crowdfunding enable collaboration of virtually any amount, by anyone.

According to Ingrid Gomes, producer and co-writer of PoustEx, \"the collaborative funding will allow the film be run as was idealized, without relying on large producers.\"

The rewards on offer are welcome for any cultural encourager, ranging from downloads, name in the credits, official t-shirts, posters, DVDs, Blu-rays, and inclusive the honor of executive producer.

Cristiano Policarpo said: \"The amount raised through crowdfunding will allow our full dedication to the project, ensuring the desired visual quality and conclusion in less time.\"

The fundraising campaign for the short film PoustEx runs until December 7, 2012. With the successful completion of financing and production, PoustEx will travel through various festivals of cine and animation worldwide, and will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray and download from the iTunes Store.
